National Novel Writing Month

November is national novel writing month. So if you could write a novel, what would it be about?  Could you imagine spending one whole month writing nothing but one novel?

I don't even know if I am capable of writing a novel, I have enough trouble trying to make your papers perfect ;) If I could write a novel though, I think I would. It'd probably be some kind of crazy fiction story that the depths of my imagination would conjure up. I'm sure if I worked on it hard enough, and got it edited really well, it could be a success. Hmm...

I would write a book on the Cold War and all the things that the U.S. and the U.S.S.R. should have done differently but did totally wrong. It is so different to read about what happened back then. We had spies running thick and subs running around ready to fire at a moments notice. Both countries were waiting for the other one to fire there nukes so they could fire theirs. It is just a time that I don't get. I would write on that to show the American people that the Soviet Union was almost exactly like the U.S. in their way of being frightened that they were going to blow up. The Russians also payed terrorists to attack American interests. Anyway that is what I would write my book on.

I would write a novel about my dream. I actually am writing down my dream right now in my spare time, and it is taking forever! I'm not sure that I would actually want it to be published or read or anything. :P

If I was going to write a novel that would be published, I would probably go with one of my crazy dreams like I am for my portfolio paper right now. They are really weird, and often funny, but they rarely make sense. I believe it could be successful if it was edited correctly, and if people really liked odd fictions that go essentially nowhere...

Hi Mrs Hansen. I was gonna do this but with college work and me being lazy it didn't get out on paper :( I was just going to write and like just see where it goes from there. I was planning on doing it the last couple years too but, again, I was busy/lazy.

I myself am not one to write in my spare time or for pleasure so I think it would be a total disaster. If I were to write a novel it would probably take me a month to find a topic that I both like and could write a complete and interesting story on. After that I would probably rewrite my introduction at lest five times. Considering I don't have too much fun writing I wouldn't make it past there.

I don't really know what I would write it on...I know like a million and one random facts about different things...pizza,aka. I could definitely write a book on the history of pizza or I could write something on the Wild West or the 1920's, oh! I would love to write something on the era of the 1920's I love how instead of being big breasted, the flappers wanted to be flat chested and actually went so far as to wrap linen tightly across their chests. Instead of empire waist dresses, the flappers wore drop waist dresses, oh I would love to write about the flappers and their bold style and lifestyle choice. That would be amazing!
I don't know if i could spend an entire month writing and researching something and editing and that was all that i could do... THat would be extremely hard and a very boring life for an entire month...:D

I would probably write a novel on dance or a story about teenage lives. I can't imagine spending a month writing about one topic. I usually only like writing things once and I don't think I would have the patience and concentration to just sit there and write about one thing.

I don't know if I would be able to find enough time to write a novel in the course of a month or even yet a whole chapter! I'm not sure what I would write a novel on. I think I could definitely write a dramatic fiction novel on the lives of teenagers. I believe that you need to have some previous knowledge of the subject you write about or do some research about the topic to make your writing honest, convincing, or interesting; therefore being a teen would make it easy for me to write about the everyday lives of teenagers.
