I personally think South Park is one of the most overwatched shows on TV. Yeah it may be funny, but its just stupid. I've never understood the reason why it is so appealing to the kids in our school; its an immature and honestly quite disturbing show. South Park has been around for as long as I can remember, and I thank my mom for not letting me watch that junk as a kid. This show takes the most controversial topics and puts them on TV, which is actually pretty cool, but the way they do it is dumb. I wouldn't doubt that the only way some people find out things about our world is through this TV show though; I guess that could be a plus.
I don’t know why South Park is watched honestly. I have seen it and I don’t think it’s a good show. They do the stupidest things on there and people think it’s funny. Maybe it’s because there not mature or they just don’t understand the real meaning. My parents didn’t care about me watching it, but I did. I didn’t understand it really. My brothers watched it every time it was on and wasted their time watching South Park and learning about things in a dumb manner. South Park maybe funny to people, but in reality it’s just stupid. I think that South Park is a show that tells the horrible truth of our lives. It tells about things that we worry about in everyday life and turn it into a show that is funny. I can relieve the stress of those topics and we can calm down about stuff that is happening because we can laugh at stupid stuff that we know is not true about that person that the show makes fun of and it can help us understand how stupid the amount of worrying we do with these topics.
well i dont have tv but i have seen a few south park epesodes on youtube and on the internet and i personally think that its highlarious. It might be gross at times and very inapropriate almost all the time but i still think that its funny and im sure almost every guy will agree with me they might not want to say it infront of other people but they know that its funny. I think that the "average" kid watches way to much tv though i grew up with out tv and it didnt bug me at all i know how to do alot more with my hands and with animals than alot of people because i was always outside and not watching tv.
I think South Park is a show that gives people a break on life, while unsuitable for young kids, it is a way to face reality while being humored instead of frustrated. It casts a light on situations without confronting personal opinions of things like presidential elections. South Park isn't made to offend anyone, although I wouldn't much like to be represented on it. If I did end up on it, I would laugh at myself and move on. The show isn't meant to be politically correct either, which is obvious when you watch it. It faces current situations, but not in a way that you should keep in your mind as a true angle on them. It is only there to make you laugh. It's a good show to watch with friends, so you can laugh at it together and relax. It's a great show to watch in the early morning hours with close friends who are just as exhausted and hyper as you. It's something to do that isn't illegal, but you get to have fun anyway. I personally have nothing against South Park, but I guess how people can take it the wrong way and find it offensive. I wouldn't want my young kids watching it either. Just adults that understand the simple humors and complex truth behind them.

I have honestly seen maybe one episode of South Park in my entire life. I guess I laughed a little bit, and some of the jokes and punch lines were sincerly funny, but I found it lacking when it came to appeal. I probably won't ever watch it again, no matter how desperate I am for a source of entertainment. I thought that it was mostly a compilation of poorly structured, racist and sexist jokes that were in no way funny. I don't understand the appeal or how the show has managed to stay on the air for as many years as it has.
"South Park" is one of the greatest things to ever hit television. The great thing about it is that the creators take some of the most controversial things in the world, news, etc. and makes fun of them. People find out about these things because of these shows. They have put many, many things on their such as the Tiger Woods sex scandal, the 2008 presidential election, prejudice and discrimination, and much much more. This show has been running for fourteen seasons, so they must be doing something right. O well, if they take things to the extreme, and sure it's innapropriate for some audiences; but they tell you that when the show starts. If you don't like it, don't watch it. It's as simple as that. They have taken many issues some people have trouble talking about and make them something to laugh about, and sometimes thats what a person needs, is a laugh. I, for one, am completely for "South Park" and think that it should continue its long run, and keep the jokes and the controversial topics coming. Most people enjoy it, so let them roll.
South Park is (to use one of its favorite words) CRAP. I've never watched more than an episode or two, and in the few minutes that I have seen, I've witnessed the show making fun of my religion, my heritage, and several other just plain offensive things. I can handle a joke. I'm a HUGE family guy fan, but South Park just takes it a step too far. I don't want to see cartoon characters pooping on TV. My parents are very strongly opposed to the show, and I definitely understand why.
South Park is watched by many kids and hated by many parents. People think it is really funny. I dont see what the point of it is. They are just making fun of shows. It is teaching kids bad things. I think if people didnt make the show, I think there would be less drug use and shootings and stuff like that. I do not watch South Park. I think it is dumb. I have a little brother adn sister and i dont want them to watch it.
South Park is a hilarious show that I do not watch often but I have seen it before. I will have to admit that it is not an appropriate show. It describes life itself as a complete lie. It makes fun of just about anything you can think and I think that some people take that personally. Some people might think its funny but it can be harmful to others.
