Just a note for this blog

Four things
1. You are all high school age students and have taken keyboarding and know how to spell or at least how to look words up on the Internet- please do so.
2. Note the title of the blog- English- please use appropriate language and be respectful of others' opinions- we live in America and this country was founded on freedom (of religion and speech).
3. Back up what you say and believe in with proof. Your opinion, no matter how LOUDLY expressed, means little until you find others who support you.
4. No stereotyping- not all women are weak because they cry and not all Muslims are terrorists. Try to view things from multiple perspectives- this will not only make you a better thinker, but it will also make you a better human being.

If you don't follow the rules, I can't give you the credit.

^_^

Why am I getting the funny feeling that #3 and #4 are somewhat because of me?

I'm flattered =D

Yes, Ashley, they are because of you. You just shout your blasphemous rants without no support or evidence to your claim. You always generalize people into categories, clouding your judgement.

Overall, I'm happy that you implimented rules and you should make a link on your blog itself to the rules.

Mrs. Hansen, you contradicted yourself by typing "American" instead of America, geeze. :)

Well at least your backing your ideas up Ashley, more than a lot of the others are doing.

The rules were stated to avoid the bashing of people for expressing opinions. If you don't like the opinion, then express one of your own and try not to stereotype people by lumping them all into one category. Be specific and rational in your expressions and you may get more support. The best thinkers in the world see concepts from various perspectives and try to understand those who offer ideas that conflict with what they know. It is how we learn; openmindedness is learning- closemindedness is ignorance.

Ashley- I directed the rules at no one person- please don't think that I singled you out and Thanks, Jamie, for the correction. It is hard to edit my own work. Luckily, I can edit these posts.
