No Coca-cola zone

OK- I have officially been free of Coca-cola for 16 days. It was not easy to go cold turkey from my two-a-day (sometimes three) habit, but I did it. How do I feel? Exactly the same minus some stomach acid issues in the morning. Was it worth it? Yes. I honestly did not think that I could exist without my Coke, but I have learned that I am stronger that I thought. I still crave it, but researchers says that after 21 days, those craving centers in my brain will begin to shut down and I will crave Coke less each day. So what is next? Coffee- especially French Vanilla Cafe, which is a huge part of my daily routine. I have begun to drink herbal tea and hot cocoa, so hopefully the transition will not be too traumatic.

So are any of you ready to give up a vice?

2 or 3 a day? Isn't that underestimating it a bit? ;)

Ugh, coffee, cocoa, and tea =P Gag me! Uh, no. I'm not "addicted" to really anything, so there isn't a whole lot for me to give up.
Any ideas?
Maybe not talking so much? haha, now that'd be a start ;)

Oh it isn't that bad. OK coffe and hot tea are, but iced tea isn't. I never made any everyday cravings except for Vault. I would drink it everyday. Then I went broke. I was forced off of it. My system shut down and I was suffering after a week I felt better, after two weeks I could do more, and after 3 weeks I was up and running to my normal self. Now I know not to depend on something that can make you suffer.

I stared walking alternating between one mile and two miles. I have been slacking for two weeks now so I decided to make it a habit like you said it takes 21 days to make your brain use to it. I finally realized I really like walking because I can have some alone time. I feel better and healthier everyday when I walk. Walking makes me a better student because I can concentrate more. Starting something is hard, but once you get used to it, it’s a habit.

I personally dont think that i have anything that i would really have a hard time giving up except for maybe my xbox and hunting. I guess something that i have given up is pop for sports and i cant really tell a difference. Something that i would like to get into my daily routine once basketball is done would be running and lifting. I like the way i feel after i get done with a good workout and i can tell when im getting into shape.

HAHAHA..that is funny. I dont know how you could possibly handle that much pop in a day. I thought i was a big pop drinker and candy eater but you top that easily. I also thought by drinking one pop a day was really bad. I stopped drinking pop for basketball and i dont think it is bad at all but then again i wasnt addicted to it. I "conditioned" myself:)
