Now that the new year has started, people everywhere will be asked about their resolutions. What are yours? Do you decide on them suddenly or really give them thought? Do you not do them at all?
Here are mine:
1. Get into better shape physically, mentally, socially and spiritually.
2. Reorder my priorities.
3. Do more giving than taking.

My New Years resolutions are to be a better person and to be on diet to gain weight. You see, I haven't been getting along with T.J, my older sister all that much. I don't know why, but I hope we can get a long with each others. I'm on a diet to gain weight we because my doctor said we need to gain weight. Kasey and I were born premature. We were acturaly we were suppose to be born near Christmas in December.
My New Year resolutions are going to be pretty simple. First I’m going to lose around forty pound which is really BIG for me but I’m tired of being this big so I’m going to man up. Next for my second resolution is that I’m going to get a job somewhere either during the summer or next week (who knows) but maybe at the school or in Brookings during the summer or at one of the store here in town. Then my third and last resolution is that I’m going to work on my English/Grammar, Reading skills, and Writing (although my reading is somewhat alright) but I really suck at English/Grammar and Writing so I’m going to work on that.
It took me awhile to actually think of a good one, and I finally realized that one thing I really need to do is stop swearing. It just keeps becoming more familiar in my vocab and I need to control it now before it gets any worse. I also want to start helping around the house more by loading the dish washer, washing clothes, and cleaning up the house.
My new years resolutions are:
1. Don't procrastinate so much on homework.
2. Work harder in school.
3. Get into better shape.
4. Don't spend as much money so I save a lot of money to pay for college.
I usually don't have New Year's Resolutions. Why do you have to wait for the New Year to set a goal for yourself, but on the other hand it gives you a good deadline to achieve your goals. This year I my goal will be to spend less money. I like to spend my well-earned paychecks primarily on clothes, but should be saved for things such as college. I will also completely remove the word "gay" from my vocabulary when referring to something stupid or dumb. I feel very strongly that gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and transsexuals should have the same rights as everyone else and shouldn't be discriminated against, but being raised with a brother who swears every other sentence, it has become harder not to say it, especially because more teens are accepting that as appropriate language.
A New Year has always been known as a time to change for the better. As a New Year's Resolution I have decided to focus as much as I possibly can in school. This includes things such as not procrastinating and achieving good grades that way I can go off to medical school. My second resolution is to get into better shape. I always tell myself this, but never actually accomplish it. I think this is a fresh start to something new. As a third and final resolution, I want to stop things I do such as judge people, gossip, and swear. This sounds easy, but I guarentee it is a challenge.
My New Years resolutions are going to be what they are every year for me. I want to improve on my grades. They arent bad but I know that I can do way better. Another one of my new years resolutions is that I need to adjust my attitude by a lot. Im tired of my mom and dad telling me that I have an Attitude Problem. So im taking that as a sign that i need to change that. Another one would be that I need to be nicer to my sister and watch what I say around people. I have a habit of just saying what ever comes out of my mouth.
I really don't have a New Years Resolution, I just never got all that into it. I mean i set some goals for myself but i don't give all the credit to a new year. I just do it all year long.
Personally, I don't do the whole "New Years resolution thing." I don't see the point, I guess. To me, life can change more throughought the year, rather than at that one moment where the year changes, so I would rather decide to make myself better at different periods throughout the year. Granted, I know a lot of people do take on the whole "New Years resolution" project, or whatever you'd like to call it, but most people last less than a month on their resolutions so in reality, most people just set themselves up for a fail...
Normally, I don't do New Years resolutions, but this year is different. My New Years resolution is to get in better shape physically. The past two years of track and cross country have sucked for me. I think I could do better if I tried and was in better shape. I also want to loose the extra layer of fat on my belly. My other New Years resolution is to set my goals higher. An example would be to get good grades on all of my assignments, quizes, and test. Normally, if I do badly on a quiz, I can make it up by getting a good grade on the test. This year, I want to get good grades on everything; so that I don't have to make it up.
I suppose that I'm a little late with this one, but my new year's resolutions are as follows:
1.Stop procrastinating on homework and other school and extra curricular habits
2.Clean my room a little bit every day, rather than just on Saturdays when I'm super bored
3.To be a generally more pleasant person to be around and to stop taking my anger out on those around me, because sometimes I say some really hurtful things to inocent bystanders.

My new year’s resolutions are that I would like to be a better person and not get in trouble in or out of school. This year I think I have only got in trouble once or twice and last year I got in trouble way more. I would love to get on the A honor role but staying on the B honor role is pretty good for me. Last year I was on the B honor role and I was very happy but this year I am still on the B and I’m with that. My other one was not to fight with my brother because we fight a lot and I always get in trouble.
My new year’s resolution was or is to make my ACL in my knee healthier for next year’s football season. I was kind of mad when I hurt my knee in the early season because football is my favorite sport and I enjoy it. So, to the New Year I’m going to work out more often so I can strengthen my knee so my ACL doesn’t tear again. That would be a bad thing because my surgery cost about 17,000. I also hope to be a better person and bring up my grades because what I’m making my freshman year has nothing on my eight grade year.
