I believe that the world is evolving adn the internet will become/has become the new way of communication, studying, learning, discovering other cultures, etc. I don't believe Redfield has discovered all the possibilities available to it yet at the touch of its fingers--we mostly use facebook for chatting with ourselves or myspace and such for chatting with people located in the nation. I don't believe we have stretched internationally yet to be able to study what other cultures learn on a daily basis in school or how their knowledge extends and possibly surpasses ours and our courses. Our generation is a tech one yet we have not yet discovered the full extent of our abilities to use with it. Possibly take it for granted.
...My eyes are hurting too much for me to actually read that, as much as I love reading ^_^ ...I still need to write my Anthem paper...eh!
Anyhow, haha Redfield? Caught up to the "generation of techies?" Haha no!!! I mean, we do use the internet for everything, and Wiki is a big things. I adore Wiki, so it sucks that we can NEVER use it for our research papers. Wait, I'll go scan the site again....
...scanning...I want that amazon Kindle >.< *cough cough..my 16th is in 6 months, cough cough*
"Trend #7: The World Gets Even Flatter and Faster"...Don't forget fatter.
"We participate, therefore we are." I could totally put this in my Anthem paper: there is no 'I' or 'you', only 'us' and 'we'...Bull.
Okay it's all French to me after that basically. No, Redfield as a community has not advanced that much, but I'll say that a few people in Redfield are on the road to the technological road.
But, just to act like I know what I"m diong, I'll agree with Kyle =D
The internet and new technology has really come far in the 20th century. The web has become very useful to students in school by letting them research, get study tips, and by getting important information. Our lives revolve around technology and the world would be at a complete loss without the technology of today. The web and such appliances have tremendously helped education and student's learning. I find the web very useful and I can't imagine my life without it!
The internet has come very far in the last few years with facebook, youtube, and others like it. The internet lets us express ourselves like never before. Students can also get loads of info on the internet as long as they give it credit. I personally probably couldnt live without the computer.
I don't believe that the world, or should i say, Redfield is even anywhere near that of being up to date with all the technology of today. For one thing, we don't have AT &T so we can't have the I-Phone, and another we don't even have laptops. No, Redfield is not up to date on the technology at all. Most of the people here are over 65 and think they can't learn anything new. You know what they say... You can't teach an old dog new tricks. Lol. But the younger generation is getting there, very slowly. I don't think that the blog makes much sense. I mean people of rural SD don't talk to people in China. Maybe people in the larger cities, but not here... that i know of anyways.
To end my paper like Ashley did, I'll agree with her and Kyle. lol :)
