Yes i do think that schools should bribe kids to come to school they should also bribe kids to do good on there school work because if they did i think that it would encourage students to do alot better in school and they would want to come to class. It would also encourage more kids to go out for extra classes and more sports. it would also encourage kids to actually try in the classes that they dont like. i would enjoy it if our school payed us for good grades becuase i would really try and i would probubly try to graduate with honors.
I think that if schools started to bribe their students with money or other perks and rewards that the students wouldn't care about the information or knowledge that could be gained, but rather focus their attention on the paycheck that would come at the end of the pay period. By allowing the students to make a reward the main focal point of their learning experience, I think that we may end up sacrificing our Standardized Test scores. You do not get paid to go to college, and that is one of the things that high school is preparing you for. In college, it is up to you and only you to make sure that you get your butt out of bed in the morning and show up to class on time; and you are not going to have someone begind you to remind you that if you try hard and do well, you will get a nice little treat at the end of the class. I can, on the other hand, see that bribing students would have some more positive side effects in that the students may try hard and benifit from the bribes, even if it is just for the money. It would probably help at least a few kids to try to get better grades or to stay out of trouble. I have pretty mixed feelings on the matter, because I personally do not need any bribes other than the prospect of success to help me stay focused and to do well. I do realize, though, that other people are different, so again, the possibility of bribes could have many positive results.
My opinion on schools bribing students. I believe the school shouldn’t bribe students. I only believe that school shouldn’t because, if we students got bribed to do are work, or come to school, or finish are homework we wouldn’t focus on the education we would focus on the bribe. If the bribe was money, candies, movie days, and no school Fridays. An example is if the teachers said if 60% of the class A’s the test we will have a movie day. Then the kids would go home just to get a movie day, or they would cheat off someone to get the movie day so more students have A’s.
I dont think that schools should be able to bribe kids. What is the point of bribing kids to come to school when they should just want to come to school anyways, because the second that you aren't bribing those children do you think they are going to want to come to school at all? I surely know that i would not want to come back to school if i wasn't getting bribed with something. I am totally against bribing kids and i don't think that it should be aloud. You kids should just want to come to school for the learning expierences not just because they are being bribed.
Paying students for their grades could increase the want to learn. It might not be ethical, but we'll have more people that will want to get good grades and try harder. I believe that if we were paid to get good grades, those kids that are failing just because there's nothing for them to work for would try harder and get their grades up so they can get a little reward. It would be totally fair because its your fault if you don't get good grades and don't work for it.
I don't believe that schools should bribe kids. It is essentially the decision of the kids whether or not they want to learn, and they should be influenced by how much they care personally about how well they do. If they don't care about the information they are learning, they will forget it soon anyway and it won't help them at all in life. But if they are the kind of people who want to apply what they learn to their future, then they will retain the information. Money shouldn't be a factor. It should be personal dedication that motivates, not bribes.
In my opinion, if the school bribed students, it would help out the grades overall. The good students would continue to do good, and the sub-par students would work harder if they got paid for it. This would also teach the students a lesson in life. If you work hard, you will be rewarded for it. This is what happens when we get out of high school and get jobs. We will get paid for the work we do. I dont see why this wouldnt work in our high school because all high school kids love money.
Yes i think it would be sweet if the schools paid us in cash for our grades, but we all know that isnt going to happen. Technically the schools already bribe. If you get good grades then that gives you the opportunity to recieve scholarships to pay for college, and a chance to go to college and suceed with the knowledge you gained in high school. Therefore, students do get bribed
