I think it is true that you need to eat a variety of healthy food in order for your brain to function properly, and to the best of its ability. It's kind of like eating a good breakfast when you wake up, your body needs that so it can use that food as energy, and make ur brain function properly. By eating healthy, you are giving your brain the energy it needs to run its self.
I do believe that the food you eat affects the way your brain will function. Just like sleep, food plays a major role in how our body will function during the day. If we dont get sleep, we're more tired during the day and it's harder to learn. Just like if we dont eat healthy, our bodys won't perform to their full potential in the classroom just like our muscles don't perform to their full potential in sports if we don't eat right. I believe that sugar probably can have a negative affect on learning, especially after a crash that leaves you tired and empty. If you're eating healthy, you'll feel healthy, and you'll perform better in anything that you try to accomplish.
I also believe that foods have a huge affect on the way your body will function. For example, if i eat something sugary like candy over lunch, by the time 8th hour comes I have crashed. Or visa versa, if I eat some carbs and a well balanced lunch, I am wide awake and can focus better. Eating a good breakfast also helps in the classroom. If i dont eat breakfast, that is about all i can focus on in my morning classes, being hungry.
I also agree that the food you eat does have an effect on the way the brain functions. When you eat healthy foods you feel more active and want to complete more activities because you feel better. When you eat junk you normally feel lazy, and just want to eat more junk food. When you eat junk food it clogs the blood flow to your brain because it clogs your arteries. Although, junk food may taste good, it is important to have a balanced diet so that you get the nutrients to help your brain function properly.
I also think that you need to eat healthy food and a good breakfast in order for your brain to work because i know that with myself in the mornings that i dont eat breakfast, all i can think about and concentrate on is my stomach and it rumbling. I believe eating for your brain to work the best is kind of like when athletes eat healthy foods and carbs before their games because athletes need to eat healthy and carbs to perform at their greatest potential.
You definitely need to eat a variety of healthy foods for your brain to maintain a good healthy function. You can't cut too much weight and cut those healthy foods out of your diet without losing some sort of nutrition that goes to your brain. Its difficult to go through the day without eating a healthy breakfast and trying to concentrate on tasks at hand. I know that when I skip breakfast, I get way to bogged down in the mind and can't focus properly. Eating healthy is important to daily life today.
I would say yes to food that would affect your brain because anything can really affect your brain. For me I would say that junk food would really mess with your brain. Honestly some kids would say it doesn't, but I think it does because most junk foods are made with a lot of sugar and that is not very healthy. During school you need to eat right especially because morning classes won't be any fun without having a nice breakfast before you came to school. I know that not eating breakfast can really have an affect on the way you learn because you can't pay any attention without something in your stomach. I know that it is really hard to concentrate on a subject without having some sort of food in your stomach. Although you should make that food healthy otherwise you won't be doing any good for yourself. Back to the whole make sure you eat breakfast I am pretty sure that is the most important meal during the day because that is how you get your day started and if you don't think so then you would just be cheating yourself.
well u can all laugh at me if u want but i love food ill eat just bout everything. but eating breakfast wakes you up in the mornings trust me ive tried this. but it not only wakes ur brain up but it starts your metabolism so u can burn calories faster. for is important for your brain and body.
